We got a surprise with one of his babies born this spring.  She appears to be a silver dilution.  Apparently Goose is a silver carrier.  We will have genetic testing done to be certain, but it will make waiting for babies that much more exciting!

He is getting a show season off.  We have a new human baby who makes it tough to show a stallion.  So Goose is turned out , being a horse, and loving life!

Stallion

This is Father Goose.  We have waited several years to have a stallion of our own, and it is a responsibility we take very seriously.  We bred specifically for him.  He is an own son of world champion sire SS Skip A Grand and out of a palomino quarter horse named Miss Yellow Seeker.  His dam is a mare out of a family bred bloodline and we couldn’t be happier to continue it through Goose.

He began his show as a yearling and we had a blast.  He has a super sweet nature and willingness to please that you don’t find everyday!  He bred two mares this past spring and we will had two “gosling” in the Spring of 2009.  He is only three, so his breeding will continue to be limited.  We are looking very forward to watching him continue to grow and mature.
